About this item
- Authentic Japanese Tatami Craftsmanship: Made in Japan with natural igusa rush grass and traditional techniques. This slim, foldable tatami mat creates a firm base for a futon and differs from a traditional thick tatami floor.
- Natural Temperature & Humidity Comfort: The breathable rush-grass structure absorbs moisture and helps create a comfortable floor space through the seasons. Its firm surface supports a stable Japanese-style sleeping setup.
- Foldable & Space-saving Design: The mat folds into sections for easy setup and storage. Place it in a closet or against a wall when not in use to maximize bedroom space while keeping a natural tatami surface close at hand.
- Create a Traditional Japanese Sleeping Space: Place the tatami on a hard, flat floor and lay a futon on top. It provides a stable, breathable base and a calming igusa aroma; it is not intended to add plush softness.
- Natural Igusa Character: The grassy scent, color, and weave may vary from mat to mat and change gradually with light exposure. Air regularly in a shaded, ventilated area and keep the mat dry.
