• Made in Athens, Georgia: Built by KD Frames in our Athens, Georgia shop, where we have made bed frames since 1987, from solid, kiln-dried Tulip Poplar grown in Virginia.
• Folds Flat for Storage: The legs fold up under the frame and the two halves fold together with the slats still attached, to about 8.5 inches thick and 41 inches tall. Wood dowels lock it closed, so it stores in a closet or moves easily between rooms, dorms and guest spaces.
• Mattress Covers the Frame Edge: At 58" W x 78" L, the frame is built slightly smaller than a standard Queen mattress (60" x 80"), so the mattress hangs just past the frame and no wood shows around the edges, whether you use a futon mattress or a standard one.
• Even Support, No Box Spring: Center legs support the frame where the halves meet, and the bed is designed to keep your body weight evenly distributed and prevent sinking on any mattress. Rated to 600 lbs.
